Oppo Reno 14 and Reno 14 Pro have just been launched in India. The phones have been praised by critics for their beautiful design and powerful features. Now the company has brought another surprise to this series of phones. Oppo Reno 14 has come to the market in a new 'Sun and Moonlight' color variant. The specialty of this model is the color-changing back panel. The back of the smartphone can change color as the temperature increases or decreases. This phone has a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, 80W fast charging, 6,000mAh battery, and 50MP triple rear camera, and 50MP selfie camera.


Oppo Reno 14 Sun and Moonlight Color Variant Features and Price

Just like a chameleon changes color depending on temperature and different environmental conditions, Oppo Reno 14 is able to change its color when exposed to temperature. Depending on the temperature, it takes on Sunlight Orange or Moonlight Silver color. When the temperature goes above 60°C, it turns silver and at -15°C, the back of the phone turns orange.


The Sun and Moonlight color variants of Oppo Reno 14 will go on sale in China from July 11. The base model of the phone with 12 GB RAM + 256 GB onboard storage is priced at 2,799 yuan (approximately Rs. 33,000). It is not yet known when this color edition will come to India. It is worth noting that the Reno series phone is available in Forest Green and Pearl White colors in this country. The base 8GB RAM + 256GB storage costs Rs 37,999. On the other hand, the 12GB RAM + 256GB and 12GB RAM + 512GB variants are priced at Rs 39,999 and Rs 42,999 respectively.


Oppo Reno 14 Specifications

Apart from the addition of a color-changing back panel, all the specifications of the Oppo Reno 14 Sun and Moonlight color options have been kept the same as the other variants. The phone features a 6.59-inch HDR+ AMOLED screen that supports 120Hz refresh rate, 1,200 nits HBM brightness, 1 billion colors, and 1,256 x 2,800 pixel resolution. The display panel is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.


The Oppo Reno 14 has a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera on the back panel. There is a 50-megapixel camera for selfies and video chats. The handset is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor. It has a 6,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging.
