PSG defeated Lionel Messi's Inter Miami 4-0 in the knockout stages of the Club World Cup. The Champions League winners have reached the quarter-finals of the tournament.
The Parisians took a 4-0 lead in the first half of the match at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sunday night. Portuguese midfielder Joao Neves scored in the 6th and 39th minutes. His goals gave Luis Enrique's team control of the match.
Then, Messi's Miami conceded two more goals in the last half. Of these, PSG got the goal in the 44th minute from an own goal. Achraf Hakimi scored the fourth goal in the added time of the first half.
PSG started the second half with five substitutions. Ousmane Dembele and Zairy Emery entered the field. They created scoring opportunities but could not send the ball into the net.
