Excitement is growing among tech enthusiasts about Samsung's upcoming flagship foldable smartphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 7. According to leaked information from various sources, this device could bring significant improvements over previous models.

Samsung is planning to officially launch the Galaxy Z Fold 7 in July 2025. The device is expected to feature a new 200-megapixel primary camera, which is much more powerful than the 50-megapixel camera on the current Z Fold 6. There are also rumors of improvements to the under-display camera.

There could also be changes in the display. The Galaxy Z Fold 7 could feature an 8-inch internal screen and a 6.5-inch cover display, which is larger than the previous model. The display could be equipped with a “new layer” to reduce the appearance of the fold. The phone is said to be just 4.5mm thick when unfolded, which is 1.1mm thinner than the Z Fold 6.

Another feature of this device may be increased water and dust resistance. In addition, a larger vapor chamber for improved heat management, a new vibration motor, and better speakers may be added to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.

On the software side, the device may come with Android 16-based One UI 8, which will provide a more advanced interface and features for users. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset may be used as the processor, which can also be seen in the Galaxy S25 series.

Samsung has not yet officially released any information about the Galaxy Z Fold 7. However, according to leaked information and rumors, this device is expected to add a new dimension to the foldable smartphone market.
